Student Services

The newly appointed Hub services manager, Hedley Reberger, took some time out to have a quick chat with Juan Legaspi about the future of services for students in the Hub. He has a big task ahead of him, not only does he has to organise a services team, but he also has to get a services framework ready. Not to mention that the project is uncharted waters for the university.

We discussed challenges faces the Hub team down the road, how services in the Hub might look like, possibilities of student employment and other aspects relating to Hedley’s role.

“It’s about taking on board what people need, want and do. Taking that information and then taking ownership for how you get outcomes for people to meet their needs. And in the university, believe it or not, that is a novel approach.”
